Stephen Black joined the Canrock team as the CFO in 2011. Steve manages financial reporting for all of Canrock’s incubated portfolio companies. Prior to joining Canrock, Steve was CFO at Kinetic Worldwide (2007-2011) and Titan Worldwide (2001-2007). Steve holds a Bachelors of Business Administration, Accounting/CPA from Pace University.

Ryan Attard was recently named the Director of ThoughtBox, an incubator for startup technology companies, and the Director of Human Resources for the current portfolio companies at Canrock Ventures. Prior to working at Canrock Ventures, Ryan was the Deputy Commissioner of Housing and Human Services for the Town of Brookhaven. Ryan has her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

Vincent Tang is a Principal with Canrock Ventures. His responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, sourcing new deals, and working with existing portfolio companies. Vincent has 10 years of technology and media investing experience with Morgan Stanley, Hale Capital Partners and Bear Stearns. He is also a mentor at 37 Angels. He earned his B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University.

Nicholas brings over eight years of experience in web and graphic design working with notable designers such as Paula Scher at Pentagram Design (designer of the CITI, Metropolitan Opera, and Public Theatre Identities) and Milton Glaser (designer behind the I [heart] NY logo, the Brooklyn Brewery brand and New York Magazine). Nicholas has designed for clients such as Urban Outfitters, Coach, ESPN, GQ magazine, JetBlue, Target and the United Nations. Nicholas holds a Masters degree in Communication Design from Pratt Institute in New York City and a BA in Asian Studies from Bard college. Nicholas has been featured in Print Magazine, as well as in AIGA shows in Manhattan.

Kavita Sethi joined the Canrock team as the Director of Finance in August 2012. Kavita manages financial reporting for all of Canrock’s incubated portfolio companies. Prior to joining Canrock, Kavita was Corporate Controller at FatWire Software (2000 to 2012). Kavita holds a Master’s degree in Financial Accounting.

Carla Olsson joined the Canrock team as an Executive Assistant to Partners, Mark Fasciano and Jim Estlll in September 2011. Carla runs Canrock’s administration and is also the office manager for Canrock and all incubated companies. Carla has a background in education with a masters degree from Hofstra University.

Eric also runs Professional Services for Karma411, a Canrock Ventures portfolio company. Eric holds a BA in Applied Mathematics with minors in Business and Physics from Queens College.
